Last night i came to the realization that our carpet looked gross due to all the puppy training that has taken place. I know that this is every puppy owner's reality but now that Perogi is 6months old, and for the most part trained, it was time to do a little carpet cleaning. I wish i had a before picture to show you but it was too embarrassing to put on camera. Here is what we used:
We rented it from Safeway for only $21!!
Here's the after:
Our carpet looks brand new, not 1 stain has remained!!! Even Perogi is impressed. The rug doctor is really easy to use quite affordable!! So...until we move someplace that has hardwood floors and our stubborn pugs are perfectly trained, we're gonna rent this every couple of months. You would totally be surprised how much dirt and yuckiness it picked up.

Awesome!
Speaking of potty training the stubborn pugs.....what did you do to mask the unmistakable smell of "puppies in training"...?
OO looks very nice! and Perogi does look very impressed! :)
Oh and my new job is working for Lloyds TSB, a big bank over here in the UK, its a great job, so relieved!

We mask the puppy in training smell with a little help of our friends resolve, lysol, and air freshener. I think the worst is over now, atleast that's what perogi tells me.
We're using "Oder Destroyer", about 6 Glade plug-it-in's, Lysol, etc. *sigh* I cannot wait until they're trained!
if i had known male puppies pee in loop-d-loops across the floor and not just in 1 little spot, i would have considered moving to an apt with hardwood floors. carpets are a nightmare. Get the Rug Doctor, it was definitely worth it!
I remember we rented one of those in the house we lived in before this one....It is sp nasty to see what comes out of your carpet huh? we had mud in ours with a lot of fur!
I bet it feels so good under your bare feet..I remember that feeling..like you sink into the carpet..
now we have hard wood...just a few throw rugs here and there....
Hehe! We have started a new trend! Soon, everyone in the world will say rubbish, instead of trash!
Love Weeny and Daisy xx xx
We have hardwood floors at the new house, but at our old house we had carpeting, and when we FINALLY had the carpets steam cleaned, I was so amazed at how different it looked. If I ever have carpeting again, I will DEFINETLY steam clean them often. It was so nasty, who knew??
Your house looking very neat and clean... I too prefer to use Rug Doctor for my Home...
